Sairam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai baba, Christmas was celebrated in a grand manner on 24th and 25th Dec 2022 at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare, Chromepet. On 24th Dec, Dr. Prabhu Ethiraj, State Medical Co-ordinator, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, TN graced the occasion as the chief guest. After lighting the lamp of love by the dignitaries, students offered a vibrant Veda chanting. Director Sri P.Kumarasamy delivered welcome address and introduced the Chief Guest. The Primary children presented a mesmerizing dance presentation on the glory of Lord Jesus.
It was followed by a video presentation by Saimax, the multimedia department of SSSIE, on its 9th birth anniversary.
“Esuvaipola anbu sei”- an inspiring skit on Lord Jesus and His Divine Message love and compassion was presented by the senior students. Then , the class XII students offered a power-packed and energetic carols performance. At the end of the Carols, the surprise visit of Santa Claus made the assembled reverberate the joy of Christmas. He brought smiles in the face of the tender hearts.
Chief guest Dr. Prabhu Ethiraj, in his address, highlighted the importance of sharing love and knowledge. He made it clear that swami was omnipresent.
Senior principal Smt. Savithri Chandrasekaran delivered the vote of thanks. Students who participated and won in various outside competitions were felicitated during the prize distribution function. The day 1 celebration concluded with Mangala Aarthi and Christmas Cake Prasadam.
On day 2, on the Christmas day (25th Dec), the day began with Morning Prayer and Nagar Sankirtan. The enchanting ‘Christ hut’ filled the hearts with divine vibration of Lord Jesus’s Birth. Students offered soulful Sarvadharma Bhajans at the lotus feet of Bhagawan. Correspondent Sri S.Loganathan, Vice Principal Smt. Veda Nayagi were present during the occasion.
A comparative study of Lord Jesus and our beloved Bhagawan was presented by the students. Students also witnessed the live broadcast of the Christmas celebration held at Prasanthi Nilayam. The programmed concluded with Mangala Arathi.
