Sairam. With Swami’s blessings, the 93rd birthday celebration was organized in a grand manner. Sri P B VASUDEVAN, Principal Consultant, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) was the chief guest of the day, Sri Sai Easwar, Smt. Malini Chandrasekar, Smt. Geetha Hariharan – SSSIE well-wishers were the guests of honour. The celebration began with welcoming Bhagawan in a beautifully decorated Pallaki with band procession and Veda parayanam. Students sang ‘Sairam Swagatham…’ in a soulful voice. Traditional arathi with ‘Jai Vijayee Bhava Stotram’ was done. Students lit 93 lamps around the splendid Rangoli of Bhagawan and sang ‘Akhanda Jothi Jalao…’. SSSIE Bhajan team rendered scintillating devotional songs on Bhagawan. The fine arts students presented a mesmerising fusion composition, ‘Anbin uruvamaai…’. The primary students danced to the tune of ‘Igiri nandini’ and moved the hearts of the audience with their sparkling performance. ‘Joy Paradise’ – a fantabulous drama on the miraculous incidents and message of Bhagawan was enacted by the students. Chief guest Sri Vasudevan praised the students for growing in a school that gives importance to values and devotion. He asked the students to follow 5 D’s in life – Discipline, Duty, Devotion, Dedication and Determination. Prizes and certificates for students who won various outside competitions were distributed. All the guests were felicitated with a token of love. The celebration concluded with Mangala Arathi and Prasadam distribution.
