With Swami’s Divine blessings, students are taught more than 10 fine arts including Carnatic Vocal, Veena, Mridangam, Flute, Violin, Keyboard, Drums, Tabla, Bharathanatyam, Art & Craft etc. at SSSIE. Professional masters regularly visit the school and train the students.

The school has got a tie up with the Bridge Academy, Chennai which conducts grade exams in fine arts around the globe. They organized an international cultural festival called ‘Kalaisangamam’ at Malaysia for the grade exam toppers on 11th Nov 2018.

Students from India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka participated in the event and exhibited their fine arts talents.

7 of our students (2 Veena, 2 Keyboard, 2 Flute and 1 Mridangam) who excelled in the grade exam were selected to participate in this mega event.

Other than the main programme at the MBPJ Civic Hall, Petaling Jaya, they presented mellifluous programmes at Sri Sundararaja Perumal temple, Klang and at Sri Subramanya Swami temple, Batu Caves.

All received appreciations from the elders for their performance and conduct at all places. Certificates and mementoes were presented for their participation.

School fine arts co-ordinator and Keyboard Teacher accompanied the students. The group also visited various places of interest in Malaysia.
