Academic Brilliance and School Recognition
Harin Kumar R joined SSSIE in 2011 as a 7th grader and quickly distinguished himself through dedication and discipline. His commitment to learning earned him the Best Student Award in 2011 and the Academic Excellence Award in 2015. Beyond academics, he actively contributed to the school community through Premsai Magazine and temple service, embodying the values of selfless service that SSSIE instills in every student.
Achievements Beyond School
After graduating from SSSIE, Harin continued to excel, becoming a Regional Topper in Physics in his 12th Boards and ranking in the top 1% nationally, for which he was honored by KVS and the Central Government with a cash award. His pursuit of excellence carried into higher education, where he completed his B.E. at Chennai Institute of Technology, winning a Gold Medal and securing 22nd rank at the university level. Today, he serves as Senior Executive – Engineering and Development at Tube Investments of India, Chennai, marking his transition from academic success to professional leadership.

Harin credits SSSIE for shaping his individuality, patience, and spirit of service. The school nurtured his talents in traditional instruments like the Mridhangam, strengthened his interpersonal skills, and provided holistic development through spiritual and co-scholastic activities. Hostel life taught him independence and resilience, preparing him for challenges beyond academics. With an ambition to become a successful product manager, Harin remains committed to giving back to SSSIE, having already mentored board exam students and expressing his willingness to support the school in every possible way.
