VIJAYA DASAMI & SSSIE 47TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION (02/10/2025)

Sairam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare, Chromepet, joyously celebrated its 47th Birth Anniversary on Thursday, 2nd October 2025, coinciding with the sacred occasion of Vijaya Dasami. It was on Vijaya Dasami day in the year 1978 that this miracle of love was planted by the elders. Over the decades, it has blossomed into a Vidya Kalpaka Vriksham, offering a rich canopy of curricular, co-curricular and spiritual excellence to students from across the nation and beyond. To mark this momentous occasion, a special Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswathi Homam was performed in the assembly hall, with heartfelt participation from the management, staff, and students.
The day was truly a confluence of blessings, being Vijaya Dasami, Gandhi Jayanthi, an auspicious Thursday, and most significantly, the 47th birthday of SSSIE. As the culmination of the Navaratri celebrations held on the theme “Gayantham Trayate Iti Gayatri – That which protects is Gayatri,” the entire gathering chanted the Maha Gayatri Mantra 21 times, invoking divine vibrations throughout the campus.
Correspondent Sri S. Loganathan, in his address, reflected on the timeless quote of Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” He shared his personal experiences at SSSIE, recalling how Swami blessed the hostel with facilities such as a new and spacious dining hall, solar panel facilities, etc., in response to the sincere efforts made to enhance student comfort. He emphasized that it was through unwavering dedication and unity in overcoming challenges that Swami bestowed unimaginable abundance upon the institution. Echoing Gandhiji’s message, he encouraged students to lead by example, to practice what they wish to preach, and to strive for excellence through self-effort rather than dependence on others. As a token of appreciation, all teaching and non-teaching staff were presented with mementos on this joyous occasion. The celebration concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan, followed by the distribution of Prasadam. At this happy moment, SSIE Family expresses its deep sense of gratitude to Bhagawan for His Divine guidance at every step of its journey towards success, and extends heartfelt thanks to all the well-wishers who have been an inseparable part of its success stories.
