Sairam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the grand Navaratri celebrations commenced with great fervour and spiritual vibrance. The theme for this sacred occasion, “Gayantham Thrayathe iti Gayatri”, set the tone for a deeply enriching experience.
On 22nd Sep 2025, the day began with the powerful chanting of the Durga Suktam by the students, invoking the divine energy of Goddess Durga. This was followed by a captivating role play by the primary students, creatively highlighting the importance of saving trees and nurturing nature. Students from the Carnatic vocal department then offered a melodious bouquet of classical compositions at the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagawan, filling the atmosphere with devotion and grace.
During the Navaratri Pravachan, the Sadhana for the day—‘Sathya’, one of the sacred Ashtapushpas guided by Bhagawan—was beautifully elucidated by Sri Thyagarajan, Spiritual Co-ordinator. He emphasized the profound value of truthfulness in life and the journey towards realizing the ultimate truth within—the Athma. Ashwin S. of Class XII offered a thoughtful explanation on the Maha Gayatri Mantra, delving into its spiritual meaning and transformative power.
Adding to the Pravachan, Correspondent Sri S. Loganathan commended the heartfelt performances of the students and shared the significance of speaking the truth through a selection of value-based Tamil songs centered on Sathya. He explained how his mother guided him on the path of Sathya from his tender age and inspired everyone to embrace the Sadhana of the day by speaking and living the truth consistently. Primary Headmistress Mrs. K. Poongothai instructed students to chant the Ganesh Gayatri Mantra during line movements, class prayers, and other daily routines, fostering the habit of chanting the Gayatri Mantra. The spiritually uplifting session concluded with the offering of Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan. Sairam.
