Sairam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare, Chromepet, joyously celebrated International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2025 with a series of yoga-centric activities led by the students.
The Sai Yogis of SSSIE—our skilled young Yoga practitioners—graced the occasion with an inspiring demonstration of various asanas, beautifully showcasing their benefits. Their extraordinary flexibility and grace earned the admiration of all present.
A special moment of pride was the felicitation of Niranjani D J from Class III, who recently won a gold medal in a yoga competition conducted by a Chennai-based naturopathy institute.
Following the guidelines of the Sri Sathya Sai National Council for Schools, the students collectively performed Surya Namaskar, Shambhavi Mudra, Nadi Shodhan Pranayama, and Gayatri Mantra chanting, adding a spiritually uplifting dimension to the day.
Correspondent Sri S. Loganathan addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good physical health as a foundation for success in all fields. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi for being a shining example of integrating Yogasanas into daily life and for his visionary initiative in establishing International Day of Yoga, inspiring millions across the globe. He elaborated on the comprehensive Yoga training provided to the hostel students and encouraged day scholars to dedicate time each day to physical activities like Yoga to nurture their well-being. The event concluded on a sacred note with Mangala Arathi offered to Bhagawan
