Sairam. ‘Sai Literature Day’ was observed as Navaratri Sadhana on the 8th day (10th Oct) of the Navaratri Festival as a part of the ‘Gnana Shakthi’ theme. During Navaratri Pravachan, Smt. L.Booma, TGT(Maths) addressed the students with the miraculous stories and incidents related to reading Sai Literature. She began the pravachan by narrating how Parikshit Maharaj attained Moksham by reading the stories of Lord Krishna during his final days after receiving a curse from a sage. She explained the story of Peddapottu amma and Swami wherein Swami corrects her in a dream about her writing in a book called ‘Sri Sathya Sai Vrata Kalpam’ that he is not ‘Sarva Devatha Swaroopa’ but he is ‘Sarva devatha Atheetha Swaroopa’ – the divine embodiment beyond all gods’. The story of a kidney failure patient surviving for more than 15 years after reading Tapovanam – the Sath Charitam of Bhagawan deeply touched everyone. She concluded by requesting all to read Sai literature to mould themselves and lead their life on the right path. The pravachan was continued by Master Sathya Narayanan of class X who narrated how the Sai literature was started by Bhagawan when he began writing short Telugu essays for the Sanathana Sarathi monthly magazine. He insisted all to read Sai literature which contains numerous books written by Swami and others to make us recipients of His Divine Blessings.
It was followed by a scintillating dance offering by class V girl children for the song ‘Enna thavam seidhanai yasodha…’, as a part of the Navaratri Chaturyam event. in the evening, during Navaratri Sangeetham, students of Guru Smt. Shenbagavalli, a 100% visually impaired woman, offered a mellifluous keyboard recital at Bhagawan’s lotus feet. The concert, which comprised popular Carnatic songs, made everyone enjoy the presentation. The tiny tots enthralled the audience with their high expertise in playing the keyboard instrument. Correspondent Sri S.Loganathan felicitated the Guru and the students. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.
