A Report

Youth is full of energy. When their energy is channalised mixing with human values they can do wonderful things to the peaceful progress of the country. Such youth are cultivated in Sai Schools.

The strength of the body and the concentration of the mind were witnessed in the thrilling and astounding feats of the students of SSSIE Nemilichery during their Cultural and Sports Meet for the year 2009-10.

Prof. Dr. P. Mannar Jawahar Vice Chancellor, Anna University is the Chief Guest of the function.

Other dignitaries on the stage were Shri. Boopalan, Trust Member, Sri Sathya Sai Trust Tamil Nadu, Sri.G.Varadan, Dist President , Sri Sathya Sai Organisation, Kancheepuram Dist, Dr.K.Hariharan, Trust Member, Sai Educare Trust.

The school Correspondent Shri. P.Kumarasamy delivered the welcome address and emphasis about value education. Mrs.Sai Meera – the school principal presented the Annual Report. Some of the achievements are

  • School got 100% result in tenth standard and all the students scored very well.
  • Student got prizes in National level Yoga and Karate competition.
  • Students got various prizes in State level Balavikas competition.
  • School provides free education to all with e-learning method.

The Chief Guest in his speech emphasised on the upbringing of the children with value based education. He also insisted that teachers and parents should be a role model and guide the children. God will always bless us if we have the good behavior. Trophies and prizes were distributed to the students by the chief guest.

The theme of the cultural event is ‘Journey to God’. Children of classes LKG to V gave colour and beauty to the function and displayed their wonderful talents before the gathering. Their dances were not only charming but bore values in them.

The pious skit “Poosalar” given by primary students was exceptionally superb. Boys of VI to X classes displayed their talents in Adventurous Sports which included human pyramids, cycling, Karathe, Silambam, yogasana, roller skating, trampauline jumps and mallakhamb. The mallakhamb was the excellent performance in the adventure sports.

The speciality of this function is that each and every student of the school was a participant in one or the other programme.
