GRAMA SEVA 2016
As a part of Swami’s 91st birthday celebrations for 5 days from 19th Nov to 23rd Nov, a massive Grama Seva was organized on 21st November 2016 where all the students served the Govt. school students and the inmates of an old age home located in the nearby Nanmangalam village with food packets and Laddoos. Students witnessed a beautiful skit presentation on the importance of Namasamarana by the Mahila members of Nanmangalam and Chromepet Samithi during the occasion. They went to the village in a long procession holding the value-based messages of Bhagawan in placards. It was emotionally overwhelming when the students interacted and shared their love with the Grandpas and Grandmas at the old age home. Various sports events were conducted for the Govt. school students and prizes were distributed for the same. Students contributed to the expenses of this grand Grama Seva by saving money during Deepavali Holidays without bursting crackers and purchase of new clothes.
